bdf2psf software package provides font converter to generate console fonts from BDF source fonts, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bdf2psf
bdf2psf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bdf2psf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bdf2psf *
You will get with bdf2psf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
